Worms World Party is a 2D artillery game developed by Team17. The game franchise has been long running with considerable success. This is the last 2D worms game before it turned to 3D environments. If you are a classic purist, then these Worms are the most graphically advanced 2D Worms out there. The main issue with this game is that it is too similar to its predecessor, Worms: Armageddon, in terms of graphics and weaponry. Still, the game is excellent fun.
You have two groups of worms set in a 2D environment, and basically the last team standing wins. You take turns when shooting each other, and use a variety of crazy weapons. The game's AI is good enough to warm you up, but the real fun is the multiplayer. You can either play at the same computer or play online. Amazing as it sounds, there are a lot of people online playing this game, and the community is still growing stronger. The price Team17 has given to this game is really low for so much fun. If you have a computer, then you should have Worms installed. |
